Haiti Earthquake Relief All-Church Skate Night... Wednesday, February 17th is the All Church Skate Night. The AWANA and Bible Buddies Clubs are sponsoring this night of family fun at Incredi-roll Skating and Arcade, located at 5621 Meredith Drive in Des Moines. The rink will be reserved from 6:30-8:30 PM and admission is free. If you don’t have a pair of skates to bring, you may rent a pair for $3. Everyone is invited and we hope to see you there for the fun and fellowship!     Saturday, Feb. 27th is the first Church Work Day for the new year.  There are many indoor projects that need done, and all levels of expertise are welcome to lend a helping hand.  We will start at 8:00 AM and finish around lunchtime.  The Wheaton College Women's Chorale has sung for enthusiastic audiences in the U.S., Europe and the British Isles. Composed of over sixty students representing many states and a variety of academic majors, the Chorale's central goal is to worship God with its musical offerings, to uplift audiences through shared ministry, and to enrich the college experience for ensemble members.  In addition to ministry in churches around the nation and campus appearances, the Women's Chorale has appeared in recent years at both regional and national conventions of the American Choral Directors Association (ACDA). Listeners far and wide have praised the ensemble for its superb music-making and Christian witness. Kathy Sanderson & Diane Van Wyk - leading - Sunday evening at 4:45 PM.  This group is will be using the Beth Moore study, "The Inheritance". Tuesday Evening Women's Bible Study... Ardeth Hoeksema - leading - Tuesday evening at 6:30 PM, "Learning to be vertical in a horizontal world".  Learning to praise God everyday, throughout the day by focusing on Him.   Men's Bible Study... Kent Woodard - leading - Sunday evening at 5:00 PM Men's Discipleship Group... Pastor Jeff Sanderson - leading - Wednesday evening at 8:30 PM.  This group meets each week for Bible study, Christian challenges, service projects, sharing and prayer.
SUNDAY MORNING BIBLE STUDY: ADULTS:   EMMAUS ROAD – This class is working on a study by Charles Stanley and they meet in room 235. ”IN THE DUST OF THE RABBI” – This class will be doing a study using the Max Lucado book "Fearless".  This class is taught by Clint Bailey and they meet in the AWANA Circle Room. KINDRED HEARTS – This class is for any and all women who feel the need to learn in a “women only” setting. The class meets in room 228, second floor of the old building. YOUNG AT HEARTS – This class is studying Genesis and is taught by Jim Harris. The class meets in room 229, second floor of the old building. COLLEGE & CAREER CLASS – This class is primarily for younger adults, although anyone is welcome. They meet in the office room located at the southwest end of the basement. The class is led by Jeff Sanderson. KIDS / YOUTH:  We have classes for all ages and grade levels.  Please see the Sunday Bulletin for age-specific room locations
