Thank You! Thank You! Thank You!...
Thank you to all of the Deaconesses for your tremendous work
sorting, organizing and facilitating the Clothing Exchange! Thanks also
to all the other workers and the entire Church Family for your
overwhelming donations in providing for this great clothing ministry!
AWANA & Bible Buddies start this week!...
The new year of AWANA & Bible Buddies starts this Wednesday at
6:30 PM. It’s not too late to pre-register- stop by the table in the
foyer today.
Adult Sunday School info...
Randy and Andee Duffy will be teaching a new class that starts
on September 12th called “Gilligan’s Island and the Seven Deadly Sins”.
If you would like to join this class, please see Randy or Andee today!

Calling all Parents of College Students...
We would like to compile a mini-directory of all the young
people in our church family who are currently away at college, in order
to pray for them and to send them notes of encouragement. If you have a
son or daughter away at school, please fill out the slip in the bulletin
and either place it in the offering plate or return it to
Angie Burnham. You can also call the church office with the information
or email it to angieb@bondurantfederatedchurch.org.
Senior Fellowship...
The first Senior Fellowship for the fall will be a trip to a
farm home near Kalona for lunch on Wednesday, Oct. 13th. We will also
visit the Amish grocery store and cheese factory if there is enough
interest. The cost will be $11.50 per person plus gratuity. We are
planning to take vans and will need a minimum of 12 people to sign up to
get this price. We can have up to 40 people. Please sign up for this
trip by filling out the insert in the bulletin and placing it in the
offering plate or in Clyde & Mary Wiley’s mailbox.
Ladies, Mark your Calendars!...
Our annual Women's Retreat will be held on Friday & Saturday,
November 5th & 6th at the Inn at Hidden Acres Christian Center. The
theme this year is Relax, Renew, Restore, RETREAT!! The cost is $48.50
payable when you come to the retreat (includes room fee, breakfast and
lunch). If finances are an issue, please see one of the Deaconesses as
scholarships may be available.
Food Pantry needs...
Our shelves are getting bare and we are in need of
non-perishable food items for our Food Pantry. Canned goods such as
vegetables, fruits, soups, sauces and stews are always great, as well as
boxed food items like breakfast cereals, dinners, pasta and potato
dishes. Thank you!
