Each Wednesday night during the school year
the church is filled with the sound of children
learning God's word.
Men's Ministry
The purpose of
our Men's Ministry is to provide opportunities
for Men to grow spiritually; to get to know
other men; to develop relationships that provide
encouragement and accountability; and to
challenge men to be faithful men of God, great
husbands and/or good fathers!
We have several Ministry opportunities available
for Men who desire individual and group options.
Women's
Ministry
The fundamental
purpose of BFC Women's Ministries will be
for the women of our church to minister to
the women of our church. We promote
the core doctrines of BFC by nurturing women
and bring them to Jesus. We encourage
women to develop a Christ-like maturity, and
equip our women for their ministry in our
church, and for their life mission in the
world in order to magnify God's name.
Choir
Worship & Music Ministry
The goal of the worship and music of our church
is to present the love of God through His Son
Jesus Christ, and to express our love and
devotion to Him. If you enjoy singing or playing
an instrument, allow us the opportunity to find
a place for you! Getting involved in the music
at Federated will give you a place to sing or
play for the King!
Praise
Band and Singers lead the corporate
worship times of the church body during the
services. A variety of musical instruments are
used, but primarily piano, keyboard, drums,
violin, saxophone, and guitars. Additional
instruments will be added, as they become
available. The singers and some instrumentalists
are on a two week rotation. These are auditioned
groups.
The Adult Choir
provides attendees and members of Federated
Church the opportunity to sing in a large group
setting. The Adult Choir sings for most Sunday
morning services and rehearses most Sunday
evenings from 6 to 7 p.m. The choir sings a
variety of music, including contemporary, praise
and worship, gospel, and classical.
There are many
Ensembles for the vocalist with the
desire to sing in a smaller group. These groups
consist of an all men’s group, mixed quartets,
trios, and mixed ensembles.
Youth and
Children’s Choirs meet on Sunday
afternoons from 5 to 6 p.m., September through
May. Youth Choir is for teenagers 7th through
12th grade. Junior Praise Choir is for those children
in third through sixth grade, and the Primary
Choir is for those children in Kindergarten
through second grade. These choirs sing for the
Sunday morning worship services once a month,
usually the first Sunday of each month. The
Youth and Children’s Choirs are a great
opportunity for kids to learn God’s Word through
music and to begin to learn to read music and
harmonize. |
